Beautiful without Ivory Campaign Launch

As part of USAID Wildlife Asia’s efforts to reduce demand for ivory in Thailand, USAID Wildlife Asia will launch a campaign with two components.

The first component, “Beautiful without Ivory” campaign, targets Thai consumers who use or desire to use ivory accessories and jewelry because they are beautiful (USAID Wildlife Asia Consumer Research in Thailand 2018). The second component, a 60-second Anantara video, targets tourists (mainly Chinese) visiting Thailand who buy ivory souvenirs and gifts and bring them back to their countries. The WWF/TRAFFIC 2018 Post-Ivory Ban Survey revealed that Thailand is the top country where Mainland Chinese travelers buy ivory.
