- Briefing and brainstorming on best practices, and review of their NIAP (National Ivory Action Plan) Progress Report and next steps; PMO5 (Prime Minister Order No.5); and WAL (Wildlife and Aquatic Law).
- Policy best practices, model provisions and legislations presented to Lao PDR government as they review their leading CITES-enabling legislation.
- Recommendations on improvements and revisions to key provisions towards up-listing their CITES-enabling legislation.
- Agree on a strategy or work agenda to support Government of Lao PDR’s policy-related commitments to CITES and ASEAN.
